Counselor Day

East Texas Baptist University is hosting Counselor Day for high school and college counselors on Thursday, November 5, 2009.  The event will take place from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm and is FREE of charge for every participant. 

Counselors will earn 4 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit for attending this event.

The topics of discussion will include:
-  Academic areas of study at ETBU
-  Admission requirements
-  Scholarship opportunities / Financial Aid
-  FAFSA training with our Director of Financial Aid, Mr. Tommy Young
-  Interaction with current ETBU students
-  Tour of ETBU campus
-  Lunch provided

ETBU will also have a drawing for FOUR, $4000 scholarships, ($1000 each year for 4 years).  The winning schools may award the scholarship to a Fall 2010 new student of their choice that is attending ETBU.
