Home School Day

 Home School Day is open to high school age, home school students to allow you and your parents to find out what East Texas Baptist University is all about!   It is a FREE preview event!  We want you to take the time to visit our campus.  Ever wonder what the dorms are really like?  Can the cafeteria top mom's home cooking?  Is a liberal arts, Christian education really affordable?  At Home School Day, you can find out the answers to these questions and more!  You will have the opportunity to interact with the Admissions staff, have your financial aid questions answered, meet with professors in every department, hear from current students, try out our cafeteria food, and tour the campus!  We invite you to find out for yourself how you can find your place at ETBU!  Home School students are welcome to attend Tiger Day and Shadow Day!  Home School Day was created just for you!

8:30 am - Registration 

9:00 - 10:00 am - Opening Session, Admissions & Financial Aid Information

10:00 - 10:45 am - Academic Expo

11:00 - 11:45 am - Campus Tours

11:45 am - 12:45pm - Lunch in the ETBU Cafeteria
(Lunch is provided for Home School participants and their guests!)

1:00 - 1:45 pm - Q & A Panel

1:45 - 2:00 pm - Closing Session

For students entering Fall 2009 or Fall 2010, if you submit your Application for Admissions and Financial Aid during Home School Day, your $25 application fee will be waived.
