	Faculty Member
Description:
	East Texas Baptist University seeks individuals to fill a full time position in the School of Education beginning June 2013. The School is seeking a qualified individual to be Program Director for the Master of Education and teach courses in both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Faculty members expected to participate in the life of the University via advising, faculty meetings/ workshops and attending university events.
Requirements:
	The applicant: 1. Must have an earned doctorate from an accredited college or university, preferably an Ed. D. or Ph. D. in Educational Leadership or Curriculum and Instruction 2. Must have at least 3 – 5 years public school teaching and administrative experience in grades EC – 12, preferred. 3. Must hold a valid teaching certificate, preferably Texas 4. Must have had some experience teaching at the college level or training adults in teaching methodologies 5. Must have a strong commitment to academic rigor and teaching, ability to communicate well with students and colleagues 6. Must have an appreciation and understanding of Christian higher education 7. Must demonstrate a personal Christian faith

	Administrative Secretary
Description:
	Full-time Administrative Secretary to the Dean of the School of Education. The position begins June 1, 2103. This position is responsible directly to the Dean of the School of Education
Requirements:
	Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Serve as secretary/receptionist and assist with clerical needs for the Dean of the School of Education. Working knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software programs. Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others in a Christian work environment.

	Full-time Secretary for the Department of Kinesiology The position begins June, 2013. This position is responsible directly to the Chair of the Department of Kinesiology
Requirements:
	Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or any equivalent combination of training and experience (two years experience with high school graduation or four years experience without high school graduation). Serve as secretary/receptionist and assist with clerical needs for the Department of Kinesiology Working knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software programs. 	KINESIOLOGY & EXERCISE SCIENCE ADJUNCT FACULTY
Description:
	East Texas Baptist University invites applications for anticipated adjunct positions in Kinesiology. The position begins August, 2013, and will include teaching one or more courses in wellness and related areas. The adjunct professor in Kinesiology is responsible directly to the Chair of the Department of Kinesiology
Requirements:
	Applicants must have an earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field. Teaching experience is preferred and candidates should have a passion for teaching and student learning in a Christian work environment, the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues, and a personal Christian faith. Fitness certifications from accredited organizations and Texas teaching license EC-12 Physical Education are highly desired. The ability to supervise student internships is also desirable.
