PALESTINE, Texas (5/7/12) – East Texas Baptist University’s women’s soccer team wrapped up its spring practice time on Friday, April 13, by conducting a youth soccer clinic in conjunction with the Palestine, Texas, YMCA. The clinic was the result of an invitation by former Tiger soccer standout Chad Cox, who is currently the YMCA Sports Director in Palestine. The clinic, which lasted about two hours and included 80 boys and girls, was a great way for the Tigers to wrap up their spring practice according to ETBU head coach Paul Grant.

MARSHALL, Texas (3/1/12) – Former East Texas Baptist University women’s soccer standout Danica Saxon has been chosen as one of just 13 female student-athletes from around the nation to receive a scholarship toward her postgraduate studies by the NCAA Women’s Enhancement Program.
