“Christmas in Marshall” Concerts Continue at ETBU |
| MARSHALL, Texas (11/20/08)- East Texas Baptist University School of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Marshall Regional Arts Council will once again feature holiday music concerts that have become an ongoing tradition of the “Wonderland of Lights” celebration. The ETBU Concert Choir and University Singers will present “Voices of Christmas” on Friday, Dec. 5. Then on Saturday, Dec. 6, the ETBU Symphonic Band will present “Sounds of the Season.” The concerts will be held on campus in the Baker Auditorium of the Ornelas Spiritual Life Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night. ... |

Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges Recognizes ETBU Students |
| MARSHALL, Texas (11/17/08)- The East Texas Baptist University Office of Academic Affairs announces that 24 students will be included in the 2009 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. The students were chosen because of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success.
