East Texas Baptist University Honors T. Whitfield Davidson Foundation at Good Samaritan Award & ETBU Scholarship Banquet

East Texas Baptist University recognized the Thomas Whitfield Davidson Foundation as the 2024 ETBU Good Samaritan Award recipient on Tuesday, February 27, at the Great Commission Center on ETBU's campus. Inspired by the parable in Luke 10:25-37, the Good Samaritan Award & ETBU Scholarship Banquet celebrates individuals and organizations who exemplify the spirit of "loving your neighbor as yourself."

ETBU’s Ana Paula Mumy Receives Prestigious Community Service Award

East Texas Baptist University recognizes Dr. Ana Paula Mumy, Director and Associate Professor of Speech-Language Pathology, who has been honored with the Burtis-Vogel-Elkins Community Service Award. This esteemed recognition is bestowed by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (TSHF) in acknowledgment of Dr. Mumy's exceptional leadership and service contributions through Spero Stuttering, a nonprofit organization.

Nine faculty at East Texas Baptist University recently received promotions, including Dr. Angela Anima-Korang (Associate Professor of Communication), Dr. Zachary Beck (Professor of English), Dr. Jennifer Mobley (Professor of Psychology), Dr. Festus Obi (Associate Professor of Criminal Justice), Dr. Derek Royer (Associate Professor of Biology), Dr. Robin Rudd (Professor of Mathematics), Dr. Teresa Salazar (Associate Professor of Mathematics), Dr. Chris Smith (Associate Professor of Worship Leadership), and Dr. Lynette Vincent (Associate Professor of Music).
