MANAGEMENT

Management, where people meet people and business either succeeds or fails. A lot of the business activities today have been automated, but not the function of human management. No function is more important that when people interact with each other. That is why ETBU places such a high emphasis on understanding management as graduates enter their careers in profit or not-for-profit companies; whether domestic or foreign.

Along with the academic preparation, ETBU strongly encourages students to take advantage of opportunities to get hands-on practice. This is available in the various student-led business organizations and internships in local companies. Business leaders from the local community are also brought into the classes to interact with the students and share what management looks like in different industries.

This is an excellent time to be a Business student. It's also a great time to focus or concentrate in the area of Management. Managers are needed in every organization at every level. Employers today say they are interested in hiring people with strong skills in problem solving, communication and teamwork. These are exactly the types of skills you will develop when focusing on the Management at ETBU.
