Three students from the School of Christian Studies and Humanities at East Texas Baptist University were honored for their exceptional research papers at the East Texas Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference held at Stephen F. Austin University on Saturday, April 13th.

East Texas Baptist University honored 159 graduating seniors with the presentation of their official ETBU Class Ring. The Ring Blessing ceremony was held Wednesday, April 24, for the soon-to-be ETBU alumni that will walk the stage in May 2024. Inspired by Deuteronomy 6, the class ring allows ETBU Alumni to carry and display the love of Christ.

East Texas Baptist University celebrated the legacy of Dr. David Dykes at the David Dykes Servant Leadership Award & ETBU Scholarship Dinner Tuesday evening at the Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center. Esteemed guests paid homage to Dr. Dykes' exemplary servant leadership and raised funds for scholarships supporting ETBU students.

East Texas Baptist University students showcased their dedication to service and mission work during spring break as they engaged in projects across Texas. A group of students from ETBU's Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) spent the week in South Padre Island for Beach Reach, while others participated in disaster recovery mission work through the BOUNCE ministry in Katy, Texas.

East Texas Baptist University inducted 67 students into the prestigious Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society (ALD) during a ceremony at ETBU’s Great Commission Center on Thursday, March 21. A national honor society, ALD distinguishes first-year academic success with invitations to join extended only to students who obtain a 3.5 GPA or higher during the first semester of their freshman year.
