TEACH Grant

Through the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007, Congress created the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher (TEACH) Education Grant Program to provide grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in a high-need field at a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.

For more detailed information on the TEACH Grant, visit the TEACH Grant fact sheet or visit the Federal TEACH Grant program web site

How to Apply:

  1. Read the Initial and Subsequent TEACH Grant Counseling Guide
  2. Be eligible for Federal financial aid (must complete the FAFSA)
  3. Complete the ETBU Application for the Federal TEACH Grant
  4. Once you submit the completed application, an ETBU Financial Aid representative will determine your eligibility and contact you regarding the next step in the process.
