Tiger Day


Tiger Day is a FREE preview event open to prospective high school and transfer students and their families. Join us for a Saturday filled with activities: Departmental/Campus Life Expo, Q & A Sessions, Admissions & Financial Aid Presentations...plenty of opportunities for you to have your questions answered!

Recommended Attire: Dress casually and wear comfortable walking shoes. You will be outdoors for your campus tour and many transitions between activities; be aware of the weather forecast.

9:00-9:30am: CHECK IN (Ornelas Spiritual Life)
9:00-9:30am: CAMPUS LIFE EXPO (Baker Auditorium)
9:30pm-10:00am: WELCOME TO ETBU (Baker Auditorium)
10:10-10:50am: Choose from the following sessions:

  • FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION (Baker Auditorium)
  • STUDENT LIFE (Ornelas Student Center)
  • TIGER TOUR (Baker Auditorium)

11:00-11:45: ACADEMIC SHOWCASE (Various Buildings)

1:00-1:35pm: ETBU 101/SCHOLARSHIP DRAWING (Baker Auditorium)
2:00pm: TIGER FOOTBALL GAME (Ornelas Stadium)

*Lunch passes and football tickets are provided to all Tiger Day participants and their guests.

**High School Seniors and College Transfers: If you submit your Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships during TIGER DAY, your $25 application fee will be waived!

***A $4,000 Scholarship ($1,000 per year for 4 years) will be awarded to one Tiger Day participant at the ETBU 101 Session. Student must be entering in the fall semester and must be present to win.
