East Texas Baptist University honored 159 graduating seniors with the presentation of their official ETBU Class Ring. The Ring Blessing ceremony was held Wednesday, April 24, for the soon-to-be ETBU alumni that will walk the stage in May 2024. Inspired by Deuteronomy 6, the class ring allows ETBU Alumni to carry and display the love of Christ.

Erin Berry of Bullard, Texas, was recognized on Friday, April 26, during East Texas Baptist University's 77th annual Senior Girl Call-Out. Selected by a faculty and staff vote, the senior student "called out" each year is distinguished for her exemplary Christian character, social consciousness, personal poise, academic achievement, and spiritual vision.

Three students from the School of Christian Studies and Humanities at East Texas Baptist University were honored for their exceptional research papers at the East Texas Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference held at Stephen F. Austin University on Saturday, April 13th.

East Texas Baptist University's School of Communication and Performing Arts closed out the 2023-2024 production season with "Jane Eyre," a tragic-poetic musical drama adapted from the beloved novel of the same name written by Charlotte Brontë, from Thursday, April 18-Sunday, April 21 at Memorial City Hall in downtown Marshall. The show was directed by Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts Rouba Palmer with musical direction by Assistant Professor of Music Judith Shelton. East Texas Baptist University celebrated the legacy of Dr. David Dykes at the David Dykes Servant Leadership Award & ETBU Scholarship Dinner Tuesday evening at the Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk Conference Center. Esteemed guests paid homage to Dr. Dykes' exemplary servant leadership and raised funds for scholarships supporting ETBU students.
