On August 16, The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine gathered for the Early Assurance Program Signing Day in collaboration with eight local colleges and universities.

The East Texas Baptist University Women’s Soccer Team had a unique opportunity to minister to the people of New Zealand during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup as part of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME), July 18-31. The team engaged the community through soccer, mission projects, prayer, and conversations during the 14-day mission trip.

East Texas Baptist University was recently named to Phi Theta Kappa’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), an honor society for two-year colleges, recognizes the importance of institutional commitment and investment of resources to support transfer students. The PTK Transfer Honor Roll acknowledges excellence and success in transfer pathway development.

East Texas Baptist University Women’s Basketball traveled to Northern Ireland for the sixteenth Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) trip for the University. The student-athletes and coaches partnered with the International Sports Federation (ISF) and served alongside the Salt Factory Sports group in Belfast, Ireland, from May 14-24, 2023.

East Texas Baptist University held its annual Hilltop University on Monday, May 22, through Wednesday, May 24. Nearly 200 participants, comprised of individuals, couples, groups of friends, and church groups, experienced life on the University campus at ETBU through worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, and entertainment. Some attended for the first time, while others have made it a tradition to travel to Marshall for the annual conference.
