*** New Guidelines for ALL endowed scholarships - effective 2009-10 - Please read *** 

Hope Pierce Tartt Scholarship - Recipients must be U.S. citizens and have resided in Harrison, Gregg, Marion, Panola or Upshur Counties in Texas for 24 months prior to September 1st of the school year. (Priority is given to residents of Harrison County). Recipients must also be full-time students and demonstrate financial need from the FAFSA. Students receiving the Hope Pierce Tartt Scholarship must earn at least a 2.00 GPA each semester for continued eligibility. Funds shall be for tuition, books and course-related fees and equipment for individuals who are degree candidates. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office.

* New Outside Scholarship Opportunities:
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program (This national program awards college scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home. Students should have: Leadership, Drive, Integrity, Citizenship.  Recipients receive $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 per student.)  Deadline is February 17, 2012.

The Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship - deadline is April 1st each year 

East Texas Communities Foundation Scholarships - a number of different scholarships available for students from the East Texas area

The Buick Achievers Scholarship - application deadline is February 29, 2012

The Point Foundation Scholarship - application deadline is February 10, 2012

Texas Right to Life "Generation Now' Pro-Life Leader Scholarship - application deadline is April 2, 2012
