All necessary application forms can be downloaded and printed from the ETBU website. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to download the forms and is available for free download on our website. Fees can also be paid online via billpay by credit card.
As a part of the application process, you will be required to submit the following documents to the ETBU Admissions Office:
Application for Admission
The admissions process starts by submitting an Application for Admission and Financial Aid. This application includes the general scholarship application. A $50 US application fee is required for all international applications for admisson. If you are unable to download the application forms, you may request an application to be mailed to you by contacting Alan Huesing at ahuesing@etbu.edu.
High School or College Transcripts
Official copies of transcripts must be submitted from the high school or college(s) you attended prior to applying to ETBU. If the transcripts are not in English, they must be accompanied by a written translation and explanation of the grading system. College credit earned outside of the US, must be evaluated by an outside agency to be considered for transfer credit. (Visit www.naces.org/members.htm for a listing of evaluating agencies.)
Certification of Finances
International students must prove that they have adequate financial resources to cover at least one full year at East Texas Baptist University. The Certification of Finances form must be submitted with official copies of bank statements for the student, family, and/or sponsor showing sufficient available funds. You may qualify for several scholarships to help pay for your tuition, room, and board. Contact Alan Huesing, Director of International Education, to see how you may qualify.
Housing Application
International students are required to live in campus housing at ETBU. You are required to submit your Application for Single or Family Student Housing along with the $100 US housing deposit. The housing application is provided along with other application materials.
Health Affidavit
Students must also submit the Health Information Form and copies of immunization records.
