Program Overview:

  • Four career tracks
  • All courses are held in the evening
  • Courses meet once a week
  • Five week summer courses offered
  • Programs are designed for working professionals and traditional students
  • Accreditation is through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and Texas Education Agency (TEA)

 Career Tracks:

Master's Degree with a Sports and Exercise Leadership Focus

Prospective students who currently have a bachelor's degree may pursue a track that will prepare them for leadership roles in sports related fields.

Master's Degree with Teacher Certification

Prospective students have the opportunity to choose a track that allow those who currently hold a bachelor’s degree to pursue  teaching certification in secondary, elementary or all level fields while earning their master's degree at the same time. 

Master's Degree with Principal Certification

Prospective students who currently hold a teacher's certificate have the opportunity to pursue  principal certification while earning their master's degree at the same time. If you are already in possession of a master's degree, you may take the courses required for principal certification only.

Master's Degree with a Curriculum and Instructional Focus

Prospective students who currently have a bachelor’s degree may pursue a track in curriculum and instruction in preparation for further growth in the field of education and possible leadership roles in schools.
