The Great Commission Center of East Texas Baptist University is dedicated to creating and equipping servant leaders that can serve across the world and also in Marshall, TX. This is done through:

ETBU Leads is all about equipping students to become servant leaders.  This is done through The Leadership Minor, leadership conferences like the Global Leadership Summit, and the Servant Leadership Institute. More information can be found in the Student Leadership Institute Brochure. The Point System for Student Leadership has a complete table with all activities and programs of the Student Leadership Institute.

ETBU Goes provides students with opportunities to impact the world for the sake of the Kingdom.  Students are encouraged to take part in service projects both foreign and domestic.  Opportunities also exist for students to integrate their learning and their faith through study abroad programs.

ETBU Cares, an opportunity centered around reaching the local neighborhoods, began in 2010.  The GCC has several opportunities for students to get involved with missions not only around the world and across the United States, but also here at home in Marshall through service learning opportunities in the greater East Texas area. The GCC connects students with local agencies and churches to meet community needs and also coordinates disaster relief efforts.
