ADMISSIONS STANDARDS
First-time Freshmen or students with less than 24 transferable hours must meet one of the following Admissions Standards:

ACT (excluding writing) score of 18 or above

OR

SAT (excluding writing) score of 860 or above

OR
Graduate in upper 40% of graduating class

     {Note: Students who are accepted based on class rank must still provide official ACT or SAT scores.}


Graduates from non-accredited institutions or home-schools must have a composite ACT of 18 or a Math/Verbal composite SAT score of 860 for acceptance to the University.
Non-graduates of high school may submit a General Education Diploma (GED) certificate. These prospective students must also have a composite ACT of 18 or a Math/Verbal composite SAT score of 860 for acceptance to the University.

 

Transfer students with at least 24 transferable hours must provide official transcripts from all colleges attended and be in good standing at last college attended.

APPLY FOR ADMISSION
We encourage prospective students to begin the application and financial aid process 6 - 9 months prior to their intended date of enrollment, however, there is a deadline for new students to apply and have a complete admissions file. For Fall 2008, the deadline is August 14, 2008. This means that a student must submit all documents to complete the admissions file and receive a permit to register by the deadline. No students will be admitted after these dates.

ETBU 101 is a MANDATORY course required of all first-time, full-time freshmen. If students do not satisfactorily participate in ETBU 101, they will not be allowed to attend ETBU.

The Advising Office is where incoming students are assigned an academic advisor and aided through the registration process.
