ETBU Student on Mission Featured by GoNow Mission

Posted by Tiger Pride in Spiritual Life, Student Life

A certain ETBU student known to us only as Casey L. (name withheld for her protection while she’s abroad) was recently featured by GoNow Mission along with several others currently on mission.

She is currently serving in East Asia teaching ESL to college students.  In many East Asian countries, it is against the law to evangelize, however, if you are asked about your faith, you are allowed to share.  Teaching, such as in an ESL class, gives the missionary the opportunity to share the love of Christ using the class to build relationships.  And it is all done without violating law.

Casey says, “I can see him working in the people around me. His word says that his spirit is at work all throughout the world. I can see it in the lives of the people here, in the questions they ask. They can sense him even if they don’t know him.”

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

We’re so proud of the work Casey L.  and all of the ETBU family who serve the Lord on mission are doing!  GO BLUE!!
