Dr. Day Elected Officer of SWACJ

ETBU Assistant Professor and Director of Criminal Justice Dr. George Day has been elected 2nd Vice President of the Southwestern Association of Criminal Justice (SWACJ) during their annual meeting held in San Antonio recently. Then during the 2015-2016 academic year, he will serve as the president of SWACJ. This is the first time that a faculty member from a faith based institution has served as president of the association. 

While at the SWACJ, the ETBU Quiz Bowl and Crime Scene Interpretation teams both won second place in their respective competitions.

The quiz bowl team consisted of: sophomore Jordan Anderson of Beckville, sophomore Halie Melot of Blossom, freshman Stormie Rains of Jacksonville, senior Florentino Perez of Marshall, and senior Cayden Cunniff of Joshua. The CSI team consisted of: Cunniff, senior Jonathan Burkhart of Oceanside, Calif., junior Christopher Hendrix of Marshall, and sophomore Dyllon Morin of Longview.
