Faculty Showcase Recital
7:00 p.m., Thursday; Mabee Recital Hall, Jenna Guest Music Building
The program will feature our music faculty performing such pieces as "out....standing" by a piano trio of Dr. Ian Aipperspach, Cammy Burkhalter and Cathy DeRousse. Dr. Douglas Lockard and the new interim band director Chris Moix will each perform trumpet solos. Applied voice teacher Laurie Lee Cosby will perform music from the Sound of Music and Dr. Candice Aipperspach will perform a German piece entitled "The Shepherd on the Rock" accompanied by Dr. Tom Webster on clarinet and Cathy DeRousse on piano. Percussion Instructor Anthony Robinson will perform "In the Middle of It" followed by a trio for Flute, Bassoon and Piano featuring Sue Bugg, Gregg Ingraham and Dr. Ian Aipperspach. Worship Studies coordinator and professor Chris Smith will perform on Guitar and Voice instructor Kern Railsback will perform on piano.
