Meet Troy G. White

Mr. Troy G. White has been serving in higher education since 2009, and currently serves as the University Registrar at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) in Marshall, Texas. Prior to joining ETBU in 2016, Troy served in various positions at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, including academic advising and admissions. Troy earned his Associate of Arts degree from NTCC, a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Master of Science in Education, specializing in Enrollment Management, from Capella University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. Troy is actively involved with the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO), serving as the chair of the Strategic Enrollment Management Committee. He also received recognition for his session on Servant Leadership in Higher Education at the annual TACRAO conference in 2019, and was selected to present the same session at the national conference the following year. Prior to his tenure in higher education, Troy served on staff at various churches in Texas in student and education ministry. He is an Eagle Scout, and a proud father of two daughters.
