ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Students who transfer at least 24 transferable hours into ETBU may qualify for the following academic scholarships for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 academic year. Students may also qualify for Federal and State Aid as a result of filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For more information regarding the FAFSA, visit www.fafsa.gov.
Transfer Honor Scholarship - $6,500 per academic year
At least a 3.25 transfer GPA is required to qualify for this scholarship. This scholarship is renewable for four years with a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Transfer Dean Scholarship - $5,500 per academic year
This is for students who have between a 2.75 - 3.24 transfer GPA. This scholarship is renewable for four years with a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
Transfer Achievement Grant - $2,700 per academic year
This is for students who have between a 2.5 and 2.749 transfer GPA. This scholarship is renewable for four years with a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
CHURCH-RELATED SCHOLARSHIPS
CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000 - $4,000 annually
Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate leadership qualities in their church or Christian organizations on campus. Student provides information for this scholarship on the initial Application for Admission and Financial Aid. Updates may be submitted to the Admissions Counselor throughout the application process. Scholarship is renewable for four years if 2.0 GPA is maintained.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COOPERATIVE GRANT - ETBU will match home church's contribution up to $500 per academic year. Separate application required.
MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP -Initial applicants must be a member in good standing of a Baptist Church (regardless of denominational affiliation or geographical location)Applications available here or by contacting the School of Christian Studies office.
Renewals must be signed by the pastor of a church cooperating with the Baptist General Convention of Texas
Provide local approval (certification), license or ordination papers from a Baptist church
Participate in Advance in Ministry program and complete Religion 2340 (Ministry Formations) before graduation
Be an ETBU student in good standing
Submit annual renewal application through the School of Christian Studies Office
$60 per semester hour
ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
PILGRIM'S PRIDE SCHOLARSHIP - $500 - $3,000 per academic year
Awarded to employees of Pilgrim's Pride Industries and their dependents.
MUSIC and THEATRE SCHOLARSHIPS - Are available by demonstrating an exceptional level of performance during an on-campus audition. Dates for auditions may be obtained through the Music and Theatre Departments

SCHOLARSHIP NOTATIONS
All ETBU awards are renewable for four years as long as minimum renewal requirements are met.
All scholarship funds are limited and based on a first-come/first-serve basis.
Students must be accepted to the University before ETBU scholarships can be awarded.
ETBU scholarships are limited to the cost of tuition only.
All ETBU scholarships require students to live in on-campus housing (unless permanent residence is within commuting distance) and maintain full-time status.
All financial aid awards are subject to readjustment after a SAR is received and student's financial need is determined.
