Student Foundation


Purpose

Beginning in Spring 2013, the Student Activities Board (SAB) and Student Foundation united to become one event planning, programming, leadership, and service organization dedicated to continuously encouraging interest in the advancement and support of East Texas Baptist University (ETBU).

Recognized as Student Foundation, the purpose of the united organization is to enlist and motivate outstanding students to serve the ETBU family in a variety of capacities. Student Foundation is adjunctive to Student Affairs and serves to assist the University with planning events and programs directed toward four major areas: traditions, activities, leadership development, and service.

Mission

Student Foundation plans events, programs, and services toward generating enthusiasm and support for East Texas Baptist University. The united organization offers the student body a variety of opportunities to serve and engage in the life of University community.
