Tigers Among Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities & Colleges

The publication Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges will include 17 East Texas Baptist University students in the latest edition.  The students were chosen because of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success.

The 17  are:  Micah Alonzo of Marshall, Accounting major; Anna Alonzo of Marshall, Spanish/Business Administration major; Payton Beggs of Wichita Falls, Speech Communication major; Dalton Buchanan of Hallsville, Business Administration major; Taylor Cruse of Fort Worth, Religion major; Michelle Gallimore of Allen, Education major; Esther Jeong of Round Rock, Biology major; Karson Kent of Mount Pleasant, Business major; Kaitlyn Kent of Mount Pleasant, Business major; and Klaire Kent of Mount Pleasant, Speech Communication major.

Also recognized: Amanda Oswalt of Grand Praire, Speech Communication major; Clinton Salmon of Longview, Business Administration major; Michael Spencer of Jefferson, Criminal Justice major; Megan Walker of Marshall, Biology major; Harvey Wiggins of Lancaster, Education major; Audrey Winders of Kingwood, Business Administration major, and Ying Xie of China, Accounting major.

Since 1934, the Who’s Who program has honored outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic and community achievements.  The students from ETBU join others from more than 1,900 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign nations.
