When ETBU running backs football coach Lee Grimes walks into a room or stands on the sideline at Ornelas Stadium, people notice.  Why? He stands six feet, seven inches tall.  Unofficially, he may be the biggest running backs coach in America, according to head football coach Joshua Eargle.

Playing for Brownwood High School, Coach Grimes was voted All-District and All-State twice as an offensive lineman.   He had a stellar college career at Texas A&M being selected All-Big 12 and Aggie All-Decade Team in 2009.  He also has NFL experience with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Diego Chargers.

As the ETBU Tigers prepare for the season opener at Austin College (Sept. 14), Coach Grimes was featured recently in a story by KTAL-TV’s Lance Snow.  Click here to view the story that aired on KTAL.
