       We have about 50 BBQ brisket sandwiches left over from the Faculty/Staff picnic. If you would like lunch today, please come by the University Advancement office anytime and pick up a sandwich. First come, first serve so don't wait!

       ETBU Friends- Please join me in welcoming two new members to the Registrar team. Mrs. Patty Petty is our new Receptionist out front and will be available to help you at ext. 2064. Mr. Ryan Lueders is also a new member to our team and is taking over Diana Furlow's responsibilities as Schedule and Records Assistant. Diana will now be our Graduation Certification Officer, filling the position previously held by Shelly Lewis. So, please be patient with these folks as they learn their new responsibilities and take your first opportunity to welcome and congratulate them as our ETBU family. Thank you and have a great semester!

       Football Season is here and we are excited about the hard work our guys put in over the summer! We are looking forward to the hard work producing success on the field. Season Tickets are ready for pick up. You may get your tickets, beginning August 19, 2014, at the Football Fieldhouse Monday - Friday between 8:00 - 12:00 and 1:00 - 4:30. All tickets not picked up by August 31 will be placed into the system for sale. Attached is information pertaining to Faculty / Staff ticket options.

       Faculty and staff are invited to nominate current students for the Bob and Gayle Riley Servant Leadership Award. This award is granted each year to a male and female student who exemplify the ideals of Christian Servant Leadership.

   MARSHALL, Texas (8/11/14) - East Texas Baptist University begins its Fall 2014 semester on Monday, August 25, 2014. The deadline for new students to apply and complete the admissions process for the Fall semester is Thursday, August 21, 2014.

ETBU MEN'S SOCCER PICKED 6TH
 
   SOCCER (M): RICHARDSON, Texas (8/22/14) - After making the ASC tournament for the first time in almost 15 years, the East Texas Baptist University men's soccer team has been picked to finish 6th in the American Southwest Conference this season. ETBU will be in their second year under Paul Grant as their head coach.

ETBU WOMEN'S SOCCER PICKED 5TH IN ASC POLL
 
   SOCCER (W): RICHARDSON, Texas (8/22/2014) - Coming off a season in which they made the American Southwest Conference tournament for the third straight year, the East Texas Baptist University women's soccer team has been picked to finish fifth in the 2014 preseason poll. They earned 111 points from the sports information directors and head coaches of the ASC.
