Proposal Description: A new funding opportunity is being awarded through the Center for Excellence in Christian Scholarship. This opportunity it open to ETBU faculty who are willing to design an instructional model for examining the intersection of faith, disciple and application outside the classroom and/or outside the regular limitations of classroom discourse. Faculty will be aided in this task by the use of a IPad2 notebook and summer stipend for training, course adaption and development, as well as a fall stipend for implementation. Proposals should include desired outcomes and timeline course activities, including an appropriate technology component. Fall will be expected to implement the grant proposal during fall 2012 and submit a summative report detailing the grant outcomes to be posted on the CECS website.

Number of Awards Given: Up to 5 faculty will be awarded grants in the Spring of 2012

Stipends: Each faculty will be awarded a total of $1,000.00 ($500.00 for summer and $500.00 for fall). Each faculty will also be awarded an IPad2.
