Estimated Cost of Attendance

(COA)

For financial aid purposes, the Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the total cost to attend ETBU, and includes both direct and indirect costs.  Direct Costs are those billed by ETBU and include tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board for students who live on campus. Indirect Costs are books, supplies, transportation, personal expenses, loan fees, and room and board for students who live off-campus or with a parent.  The chart below contains detailed information regarding the most current COA before any scholarships or financial aid is applied.

Tuition & Fees  The average cost of tuition and fees for a typical student based on enrolling full-time (12 or more hours per semester) for the academic year.

Books & Supplies  A reasonable estimate of books and supplies for a typical student for the academic year.

Room & Board  A reasonable estimate of what it would cost to live on campus or off-campus in Marshall while attending school for the academic year

Transportation  A reasonable estimate of what it would cost a student in transportation expenses while attending school for the academic year. This is an indirect cost - an expense not owed to ETBU.

Personal & Miscellaneous  A reasonable estimate of what it would cost a student in personal and miscellaneous expenses while attending school for the academic year.  This is an indirect cost - an expense not owed to ETBU.

Loan Fees  A reasonable estimate of the total amount of origination fees the Department of Ed takes away from awarded loan.

The Average Cost information below is based on full-time enrollment in fall and spring and includes indirect expenses that are not payable to ETBU (books & supplies, transportation, and personal expenses).

To estimate the amount payable to ETBU, use the online Estimated Cost Calculator.
