Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band picThe Symphonic Band is among the finest performing groups of its kind.

Each December, under the direction of Mark Crim, the ensemble performs "Sounds of the Season," a Christmas concert sponsored by the Marshall Regional Arts Council.

In the spring semester, the band performs concerts for the Marshall community and conducts an annual performance tour.

Additionally, the Symphonic Band records new compositions for distribution by national publishing companies.

The Symphonic Band is comprised of music majors studying to be professional musicians and music teachers as well as students from nearly every academic discipline.  It serves as the primary ensemble of the instrumental program and offers many opportunities for student leadership.

For information about upcoming concerts, review the online ETBU Fine Arts Calendar of Events
