Alumni Survey
OIRE prepares and distributes an alumni survey every five years. This survey is designed to collect information pertaining to the students' satisfaction and experiences with the University. This survey has been administered in 1997, 2002, and 2007.
CSBV - College Students' Beliefs and Values
In the Fall 2004 term, the University was invited to be a part of this survey through HERI of UCLA. This program of research was designed to track the spiritual growth of students during their college years. This survey was only administered to entering freshmen in the Fall 2004 term.
CSS - College Senior Survey
The CSS is a national survey project of HERI of UCLA. The University has participated in this project since 2001, using it as an exit survey of graduating seniors. The CSS is designed to collect information on the students' undergraduate experiences and satisfaction with college. The results of this survey include a longitudinal study between the students' CSS and TFS responses.
HERI Faculty Survey
The HERI Faculty Survey, administered once every three years, is designed to provide institutions with timely information about faculty issues such as workload, teaching practices, job satisfaction, and the overall academic climate of their schools. In 2007-2008, the Survey was administered entirely online using a web-based survey. The University participated in this national survey in 1992, 2001, 2004, and 2007.
SSI - Student Satisfaction Survey
The SSI was administered to a sample of University students during the fall of 2001 as a part of the Comprehensive Assessment Project of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. The survey measured student's satisfaction with a wide range of college experiences.
TFS - The Freshman Survey
The Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Freshman Survey is a national survey developed by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) of UCLA. The survey is designed to assess the effects of college on students. The survey is administered to college freshmen at the beginning of their college career to provide baseline data upon which comparisons can be made at a later point. The University has used the Freshman Survey since 2000.
YFCY - Your First College Year
YFCY is a national survey developed by HERI of UCLA and the Policy Center on the First Year of College. The survey is designed to measure student development in the first college year. The results of this survey include a longitudinal study between the students' TFS and YCFY responses. The University has participated in the YFCY since 2003.
