ETBU Students Enjoy Eye Opening Trip To Ethiopia
This article includes a photograph MARSHALL, Texas (1/31/12)- “Eye opening,” is the sentiment of 12 East Texas Baptist University students who experienced a 10-day mission trip to Ethiopia during the Christmas break. The long journey from campus to Bona, a small village in southern Ethiopia, was the first ETBU student trip to the area. The final leg of the journey to arrive in Bona was a five hour bus trip, with the last four traveled on a very bumpy, dirt road. The whole ministry trip had over 90 hours of travel.

For over 30 years, the prestigious award has been presented by members of the Council of Public University Presidents and Chancellors, the Independent Colleges and Universities of Texas, and the Texas Association of Community Colleges.

MARSHALL, Texas (1/25/12) - The East Texas Baptist University School of Fine Arts will present Opera in the Attic, February 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. and February 4 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The performances will be held in the Mabee Recital Hall of the Jenna Guest Music Building and will include scenes from The Mikado, Don Giovanni, Ballad of Baby Doe, The Magic Flute, Dialogue of the Carmelites, Die Fledermaus, and Carmen.
Guest Artist Piano Recital at ETBU
