ETBU To Host Shadow Day, December 6-7

MARSHALL, Texas (11/26/12)-High School seniors and college transfer students are invited to attend Shadow Day at East Texas Baptist University Thursday, December 6, through Friday, December 7, 2012. Shadow Day is an event sponsored by the ETBU Office of Admissions that gives visiting students an opportunity to experience campus life at the four year Christian liberal arts university.

The visit to campus allows prospective students to spend the night in the dorm, socialize with current students, and visit with professors at breakfast and by attending classes. Shadow Day participants will join current students in attending a Thursday evening event of Tiger basketball along with entertainment and fun after the game. These opportunities give students a look at what ETBU has to offer.

High School seniors or college transfer students must pre-register as there is limited space available. A $20 non-refundable fee for Shadow Day must be paid to reserve registration for the event, however if a student submits their Application for Admission and Financial Aid during "Shadow Day,” their $25 application fee will be waived.

6:30 p.m.- Tiger Basketball game vs. Hardin-Simmons

9:30 p.m.- On-Campus Activities and Entertainment

8:00 a.m.-8:45 a.m.- Breakfast with Professors

9:00 a.m.-9:50 a.m.- Attend Class of your choice

10:00 a.m.-10:50 a.m.- Tiger Talk (parents welcome)

11:00 a.m.-11:50 a.m.- Attend Class #2 of your choice (PARENTS: Information Session)

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.- Lunch In Bennett Student Commons

1:15 p.m.-1:45 p.m.- Shadow Day Closing Rally
