First dance on campus makes history

The Spring Fling: “Blacklight Breakdown,” hosted by Student Activities Board (SAB), will be held in the Heritage Room located in the library on March 8 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
During the fall 2009 semester, the Student Government Association (SGA) submitted a proposal requesting that the Fall Formal and a Spring Fling dance be held on campus.
The proposal was approved by the University Cabinet. Previously, all dances were held at off campus venues. Full story

ETBU hosted the famous illusionist and alumnus, Brock Gill on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Brock aired his new show for the first time for an audience filled with local residents and youth groups, along with many ETBU students.

Popular Christian Rock artists Hawk Nelson, Decyfer Down, Pillar, Emery, Brian “Head” Welch, Project 86, The Letter Black, Wavorly and FlatFoot56 will be performing at “Forty Fest – Resonate! 2010,” a daylong music festival on Saturday, March 20 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
