China.smBIOL 3300 - FIELD COURSE

COST: $3,300 + tuition

(Includes all travel -from Dallas; visa; insurance; lodging; site fees; almost all meals) 


Cities to Visit: Hong Kong; Chengdu & Guangzhou, China

Course Goals:

1. Study the principles of ecology and ecological management and education using three case studies:
     * A highly endangered species - the Giant Panda
     * Environmental education centers - Hong Kong Wetland Park and Chendgu Giant Panda Breeding Center
     * Special protected areas - botanical gardens and nature areas
2. Develop or deepen appreciation for Chinese culture
3. Participate in ministry activities with Chinese people
