In just two seasons as head coach at ETBU Janae Shirley has guided the Lady Tigers back to a position of national prominence on the softball diamond. The Lady Tigers have won 65 games the last two seasons under Shirley, including 39 during a run in 2009 that saw ETBU win the ASC East Division championship and spend time as the top-ranked team in the nation. Shirley, who started in left field on the all-time winningest team in Lady Tiger history in 2004, is now 65-24 as head coach entering her third season.

Bill Galloway

Bill Galloway was inducted into the NFCA Hall of Fame in 2001 and spent 20 years as head softball coach at Louisiana Tech. He joined the Lady Tiger staff as a part-time pitching coach in 2003 and 2004, then rejoined the program on a part-time basis in 2006. Galloway has a wealth of fast-pitch coaching experience at the Division I level following stints as head coach at Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M. He has a 934-421 record (.689 winning percentage) at D-I, and his Louisiana Tech teams posted at least 30 wins in a season 16 times. In his career, Galloway had 11 players selected as All-American and has 10 former players currently working as head coaches at the collegiate level. He has coached 44 Regional All-Americans.

Dani Miller

Former Lady Tiger Dani Miller joins the ETBU coaching staff this season after completing her four-year playing career in 2009. Miller enters the coaching field after serving as ETBU's starting catcher the last two years to cap a career that saw her earn four letters and an All-ASC East Division honor as a freshman in 2006. She started 79 games at catcher over the last two seasons, including 48 in her senior year when she guided a pitching staff to 39 wins and a 0.89 staff ERA.

Guy Shirley
Assistant Coach
Guy Shirley will be in his third season as an assistant coach on staff with his wife, Lady Tiger head coach Janae Schlabs-Shirley. Coach Shirley works with ETBU outfielders and is a former Tiger baseball player, having played at ETBU during the 2000 season that saw the Tigers advance to the championship game of the NCCAA World Series in Celina, Ohio.
