Coach Bert West is in his 16th season as head coach of the ETBU men's basketball program. He enters the 2009-2010 season with 190 wins with the Tigers, which ranks second all-time only to career coaching wins leader Jim Webb with 219. Since returning to the program in 2000 after a three-year absence, Coach West has led the Tigers to one American Southwest Conference East Division championship and four ASC Tournament appearances.

Michael Prather

Assistant coach Michael Prather is in his fourth season as a full-time coach on staff at ETBU. Coach Prather began as a student assistant coach for head coach Bert West before moving onto the staff in a full-time capacity in 2006-07. He works primarily with the program's guards as well as helping coordinate defensive game planning.

Ivory Gilmore

Tigers assistant coach Ivory Gilmore joined the staff this past summer after receiving his graduate degree in 2009 at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Coach Gilmore works primarily with the program's low-post players.

Kevin Oliver
Student Assistant
Kevin Oliver is in his second season as a student assistant coach at ETBU. A native of Mesquite, Kevin graduated from Mesquite Horn High School and is majoring in Kinesiology. While in high school, Oliver earned All-District second-team honors on the court and has been a valuable source for the Tigers coaching staff since joining the program.
