ETBU's Ryan Yezak named to
2010 ASC All-Sportsmanship Team
MARSHALL, Texas (6/4/10) -- East Texas Baptist junior shortstop Ryan Yezak has been named to the 2010 American Southwest Conference Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship team. The ASC Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship Award honors a male and female student-athlete who best displays the attributes of sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship and academic integrity in their athletic, academic and life pursuits.

 Five Tigers named to spring ASC All-Academic team
MARSHALL, Texas (6/1/10) -- Five East Texas Baptist baseball student-athletes have been named to the 2010 American Southwest Conference All-Academic team released from the conference office. Seniors Matt Hale and Kyle Pope, along with juniors Ricky Brooks, Scott Shipley and Ryan Yezak, were all named to the team that also included five Tiger softball players and six student trainers representing ETBU. |
