Quinn Tedder is in her first year as assistant coach on Lady Tiger basketball coach Jay Bowen's staff at East Texas Baptist University.

Tedder, a former member of two conference championship teams at Texas Christian University, comes to ETBU from Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, where she has been a special education teacher and head girls basketball coach since August 2005. She received a B.S.E. in Special Education from TCU in 2003 and later earned a M.E. in Elementary Education from TCU.

As head coach at Arlington Heights, Tedder's team won bi-district and area championships in 2006 to give the program its first playoff wins in 10 years. That season, Arlington Heights also tied for the most successful season in school history.

Tedder entered the coaching field in August of 2003, serving as junior varsity girls basketball coach at North Crowley High School. She left North Crowley a year later to become junior varsity volleyball and girls basketball varsity assistant at Colleyville Heritage High School in Grapevine, in August 2004.

A native of Lindale, Tedder graduated from Lindale High School before moving on to TCU, where she played on the Lady Frogs' 2001 Western Athletic Conference championship team. A year later, Tedder was part of the Lady Frogs' first Conference USA championship.

At Lindale, Tedder was a four-time first-team All-District selection as well as a two-time All-District selection in volleyball. She also earned All-East Texas honors in both sports as well.

In 1995, Tedder played on Lindale's state semifinalist team, and in 1997 she was named honorable mention All-America by Street and Smith's magazine. She has also been a member of the 1997 Junior Olympic national championship team, a member of the 1998 18-under AAU national championship team, and a member of the 1998 Prep-No-More BCI national championship team.

At TCU, Tedder was a member of the Dean's Honor List from 1999-2002 and also won the TCU Women's Basketball Academic Award in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Quinn is the daughter of Richard and Robin Tedder of Brock, Texas. She has a younger sister, Keely, who is a student at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
