Lady Tiger volleyball assistant coach Kris Mashe will be in his second season on staff at East Texas Baptist University in 2007.

Mashe, the husband of lady Tiger head coach Lyndsay Mashe, joined his wife on staff at ETBU for the 2006 season. The Lady Tigers won the program's first American Southwest Conference East Division championship since 2002 that season, winning 19 of their final 25 games and going 15-2 in conference play.

A native of Longview, Texas, he attended Kilgore College and the University of North Texas. He has played both outdoor and indoor volleyball for over 10 years and has coached East Texas Volleyball Club for five years while also serving as a member of the club's board of directors.

Kris helps coach the Lady Tiger offense, working particularly with hitters and blockers.

He and Lyndsay welcomed their first child, Brady Wayne Mashe, on Feb. 26, 2007.
