Dear Alumni,
As we approach Homecoming 2010 – Tiger Pride “Loyal and True”, we are reminded that it is time for membership renewals in the ETBU Alumni Association. As a current annual member, your financial participation has been important to the ongoing work of the Association. Your annual membership can be maintained either with an Annual Membership renewal fee of $35, or perhaps you would like to consider purchasing a Lifetime Membership for a one-time $500 payment.
Annual Memberships ($35) help make up the working budget for the Association on a yearly basis. Lifetime Memberships ($500) are placed in an endowment fund, which generates a yearly income to the Association perpetually, varying in amount according to the investment performance. It is truly “a gift that keeps on giving”.
The Lifetime Membership may be paid out over a year’s time using our automatic bank draft and a payout plan of $25 a month over a 20 month period, making this type of membership more easily accessible to our alumni. A bank draft form and a return envelope are enclosed for your convenience, should you choose this option.
Also our travel website,
www.etbutravel.com, is an easy, no-cost way to contribute to your children’s educational support through our Spraberry Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund, available to children of former students. Royalties received into this fund may one day benefit you directly if your children choose to return to ETBU for their education.
We hope life is going well for you. Keep us informed by updating your address and email! Your next issue of Hilltop news should be arriving shortly, as will your Homecoming brochure and registration form.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Culbertson (’02)
Director of Alumni Relations
