Steps to Complete the Admissions Process
Transfer admission to East Texas Baptist University is based on the amount of transferable hours from previous institutions.
Students must have at least 24 transferable hours to be excluded from the freshman admissions standards and must be in good academic standing at the last college attended.
Transfer students are strongly encouraged to begin the application process 2 - 3 months prior to the start of the term they plan to enroll.
By following the checklist below, you will be well on your way to completing the application process.
- Submit a complete Application for Admission and Financial Aid.
- Submit $25 Application Fee (Payable online HERE)
- Submit official copies of all transcripts.*
- Submit official ACT or SAT scores. (if you have less than 24 transferable hours)
- Exhibit good character, as seen by the University.
The following are not required for acceptance, but to complete your admissions file you must also:
- Submit an Application for Housing (Single Students - Single Student Resident/Commuter Housing Application; Married or Single-Parent Students - Application for Family Housing).
- Submit Refundable Housing Deposit ($100 Single Student, $200 Family Housing). (Payable online HERE)
- Submit complete Health Information Form.

ADMISSIONS STANDARDS
*All official transcripts from previous institutions must be submitted to the Office of Admissions for admission and financial aid decisions to be made.
It is important to note that for transcripts to be considered official, they must come directly from the issuing institution either in the mail or SPEEDE.
