East Texas Baptist University uses email as its OFFICIAL form of communication for students. Each student is issued an email address to which all communication from faculty and administration is sent.

ALL ETBU APPLICANTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED AN ETBU EMAIL ADDRESS AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT IT IS CHECKED REGULARLY!

Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and other Administrative offices will ONLY send information to the students ETBU email account.

***STEPS TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT***

• 1. Log-in to TIGERMAIL from the ETBU home page
•    Your USERNAME is: first 3 letters of your last name (lower case) AND the last 4 digits of your social security number

   EXAMPLE: Your name: John Smith
   Your Social Security #: 123-45-6789
   USERNAME: smi6789

 

• 2. Your PASSWORD is your entire social security # without dashes

  

EXAMPLE: Your name: John Smith
   Your Social Security #: 123-45-6789
USERNAME: smi6789
PASSWORD: 123456789

 

Your full ETBU email address would be: smi6789@etbu.edu
