The Department of Communication seeks to provide students pursuing a degree in mass communication or speech communication with the theoretical foundations and practical knowledge of effective personal and public communication principles. The department offers courses in the general education curriculum and majors and minors in two sequences: Speech Communication and Mass Communication.
