Introduction to the THEA Quick Test
This test is offered on campus as a service to our ETBU Teacher Education students only. The education department will handle the sign-up procedure for you. Please remember this is a requirement to enter the education program! The THEA test consists of three sections: Reading, Mathematics, and Writing. Each section of the THEA test is designed to measure a student's academic skill against an established standard of competence. A student's scores are based on his or her performance in relation to the skills being tested. The test allows a maximum of fives hours to complete. For a complete list of THEA test skills, refer to the THEA Test Preparation Quick Reference Guide.
